My two favourite interview questions are not specific to programming. I learned these questions in University while screening applicants for a major scholarship. Typically you would ask these questions at the end of the interview with about 15 minutes of time left.

Question 1: "What question are you glad I didn't ask?"

Question 2: "What question do you wish I had asked?"

    XML sucks. Badly. SOAP on the other hand is the most powerfull vacuum pump ever invented.

      Generally, the follow-up to each answer is "Why?" :-)
