I've asked the same question about a book review in french, and received a warm support, so I did it...
I see no reason why you shouldn't do it too.
For my part, I'd just ask for an additional english version of the tutorials
for the people who don't speak german (like me ;-)...

Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
