feedback buttons?

Maybe I'm totally lacking in Clue (does my account die if I end up with negative XP? 8^), but where are the voting buttons? I can't seem to find them anywhere...

    Your account doesn't die if you get negative XP. If you look at Voting/Experience System you'll see that votes are only allocated to you when you reach level 2 or 20XP points. At that point you get 5 votes a day and as you continue to level up you get more votes.
