I think that ikegami is on it! I am studying these pages..I don't understand it all yet, but difference between ISO_8859-1 and UTF-8 appears relevant. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_8859-1#Codepage_layout http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UTF-8 This subject can get complicated.
