Don't be sorry, you are probably right! What I meant, but failed to make clear, was that in general processors with more cores have a lower clockspeed. Sure there are high speed multi core processors but they tend to get very much more expensive; so "dollar for dollar" I feel that you get more processor capacity at a lower clock speed. CountZero A program should be light and agile, its subroutines connected like a string of pearls. The spirit and intent of the program should be retained throughout.
