in reply to Perl fan being tempted with Python

Perl is suited for some people, Python for others.

Just like some people get more done with a really clean desk, and others require a messy desk.

Neither is more "right".

So are the Perl programmers the ones with the clean desks or the messy ones? *grin*

Can you think better about what you're doing when you have no written materials on your desk to support your thoughts? My thought would be Perl (and other) programmers do not rarely have clean desks... But that's just from looking at mine and my colleagues' desks...

I got a safari account and cd bookshelves to clean up my desk and I still can't find a bare surface here.
