in reply to Convert executable back to source

Use "Super Search" or the Google alternative. Searching on "compiled source exe" I found articles:
Perl Decompile
perl2exe - no more secrets
PerlApp decompile?
Security, is it to much to ask?
A real challenge

That's just what I found easily. I'm sure searching with other words would find the answer you need. Maybe 'decompile'?

Apparently a key question is: What compiled your code into an .exe and when? (that is, what version of that tool?)

Replies are listed 'Best First'.

I used the PDK 5.1. Just recently had to install and upgraded to 5.3. Thoughts?
