If humanity is still around when another intelligent species appears on Earth, I think that all of the first five choices will occur simultaneously. Some people will think of them as rivals; others will try to be friends. Still others will revere them.
Of those who are afraid of them, one group will try to oppress them and another will try to hide from them.
Most likely, none of these strategies will work.
