My name is Christian Hedin. I have now used Perl for some years, both for work and play. It's one of the best languages I've ever tried and probably _the_ best one for making quick hacks. I've used Perl for websites, database apps, text processing and even GUIs. Other languages I'm fond of are Java, Objective-C, C++, C and PHP. Oh yeah, I'm a die-hard Mac-user. Mac OS X is in my opinion the by far the best operating system around - powered by Unix and the most intiutive user interface it really kicks ass and is constantly on the bleeding edge of technology.

Hi! My name is Christian Hedin and I'm a 21 year old student living in Lund, Sweden. I am studying computer science and my native programming language (which we learn) is Java. So I'm trying out Perl on my spare (duh) time in hope to learn something useful. Currently I really am a newbie so don't get to hard on me if my questions are silly! :-)
