in thread replacement for DBI?

sorry - is that better? I just reinstalled DD::mysql, but it's still throwing the same error...

    Reinstalled to where? How?

The way forward always starts with a minimal test.
I reinstalled on the cPanel for our site (we're on a shared host). I just click the button to reinstall (sorry, I'm only a hobbyist perl programmer)

No need to apologize for that! Sounds like you need to reach out to your host support and tell them that your perl cannot find the newly reinstalled module, and you wonder if it was installed in the right place or if somehow your Perl library path (@INC) got screwed up.

        Good luck!
