DaWolf has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Greetings.

I saw a lot of "Geek code" and "Perl Geek Code" while browsing some personal nodelets here at the Monastery, so I'd like to have one too =:c)

My questions are:
  1. How do you write a Geek Code? I've found Perl Geek Code, but I'd like to understand how it's done and why it's done this or that way. Is it based on some language? Wich one?
  2. What's the diff between Geek Code and Perl Geek Code?
  3. Is it obfuscated?
  4. How, in gods name =;c), I can write one?
TIA,

If you had continued searching, you would have eventually stumbled across mirod's Perl Geek Code (not to be confused with his PM node about it). The PGC page contains a generator and decoder.
