I just noticed that the "User Since" field in a user's information box does not specify a year. Is this a bug?

Replies are listed 'Best First'.

    i doubt that it's a bug, but as turnstep said above, it has simply not yet become necessary.

    i have an additional idea with regard to the date information on people's user nodes. how about if the 'Last here' date was followed by a duration, like so:

    Last here:
    Wed May 25 at 21:25 (3 days ago)
    i find that for me, the duration is a much better indicator of whatever 'Last here' is supposed to indicate than the date alone.

    Well, assuming that vroom is the earliest known user, it's not really a bug until November 11, 2000. Until then, the year can be inferred. :)
