DBI roadmap

Tim Bunce has released DBI 1.45.

Most notable in this edition is not any fancy feature, but a roadmap of DBI future implementation.

The roadmap is not referenced directly from CPAN's DBI page, but it is available here (pod).

There are plans for improved performance, high availability, module extensibility, Perl 6 implementation, new tests, and much more.

This is what I've been waiting for: Fixed "Free to wrong pool"/"Attempt to free unreferenced scalar" in FETCH.	[reply]

I've added a comment to my ActiveState bug report DBI related CPAN modules fail "make test" offering to retest my problem report if they'll build new PPD's for 1.45. Hopefully they'll come through 'soon'?	[reply]
