toma has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:
I am writing a perl program that generates C code.
My implementation so far looks like a rather
mundane templating system. Is there a module
designed for generating C? Or is there a general-purpose
templating system which is good at generating
C code? If not, I'll end up inventing
yet another templating system.
My application generates C-language real-time signal processing code from a directed graph. The graph is specified in perl, as a bunch of function calls. These functions generate the C code.
Related ideas and concepts are also welcome.
It should work perfectly the first time! - toma
