Immediatly after you login to Perl Monks, You are presented with a "welcome back" page, which offers you a couple of options:

Hey. Glad you're back. Would you like to go to your home node or to The Monastery Gates?
...or back to The Monastery Gates?

While it's certainly less than an annoyance, it'd look a little more polished if it didn't present duplicate options (The Monastery Gates, or back to The Monastery Gates) .. Perhaps this page could be altered to only display the "...or back to..." line if it isn't going to refer to your home node or The Monastery Gates?

As has already been pointed out the third option is the page you came from. What I did was:

    • log out
    • go to newest nodes
    • click on the login link
    • bookmark the page and call it perl monks login

When you log in using this bookmark, you get three useful options.

While perhaps some additional logic could certainly fix that, the third option takes you back to where you were before you signed in. If you were hanging on the PMD page, then logged in, that option would be PMD.

I think Newest Nodes woud be a good additional option, thats the place I go when I logged in, anyway
