When logged in, Newest Nodes starts with
Show nodes created ... More Newest Nodes Settings
and this all works as expected.
However, when not logged in (i.e. as Anonymous Monk), the same is displayed but the Newest Nodes Settings link does not link to Newest Nodes Settings; instead, it links to a Super Search page showing:
Found 0 nodes ... where title contains all of "Newest", "Nodes", "Settings"
I don't know what the intended functionality is but I suspect this isn't it.
Here's a non-exhaustive list of possibilities for Anonymous Monk:
- Remove the "More Newest Nodes Settings" part.
- Provide a link to a node allowing limited settings changes, e.g. order of nodes (oldest instead of best first), depth of nodes ("Re^5: ..." seems to be the default), etc.
- Change wording so that it's clear this is a search, not a settings change.
I'm not making a request for any of those specifically nor do I have any particular preference. I do, however, think that the wording should match the action.
