in thread Something changed the creation time/date of all my posts?

What I am saying is, if there is an issue with "right to be forgotten" laws, surely that issue is the responsibility of all the Monks, who have built this Monastery and to whom it belongs. At least, the most senior Monk could have raised it as a group discussion rather than asking what some fairy godmother "Management" is going to do about it.

The way forward always starts with a minimal test.

In fact, when I raised the issue in Proposed EU law: right to be forgotten, BrowserUK contributed - I thought helpfully - to the discussion. S/he is NOT the "most senior monk". If such an individual exists, it's Tim Vroom. Even if s/he were, why would there be any duty to raise any subject?

    Regards,

    John Davies

If you like it or not: vroom got his ranking „Par Ordre du Mufti“ and the mufti was himself as I assume. But this makes sense. BrowserUk got it because of another kind of hard work. But both got it „Pour le Mérite“. Best regards, Karl

If I had any influence here, this place would be quite different...But it is, and always has been, cliquocratic; and I don't fit.

What‘s going on? Got the blues? You fit here like a pearl onion on a cup of icecream 😎. Best of both worlds. Sometimes harshness is considered as helpful. Carry on. Best regards, Karl

Read and quote more carefully. I didn't say "I don't fit here".
