in reply to Reaped: Herr Corion

While possibly (even probably) written sarcastically, this post is not blatantly aggressive (at least according to babelfish). While not in English, I don't believe that this is a requirement for PM (although it is encouraged). While repetitive of others written prior by the same author, that is not the reason given for reaping this post ("This idiot needs banning"). Shouldn't the reason for reapage be due to the nature of the post itself, and not based on the person writing the post?

Normally, I would agree, but look at his (now Reaped) reply in this thread. I would call that blatently offensive.

This guy has 71 posts, I would be amazed if even one of them has a positive rating. He is incoherent, rambling, abusive, and has yet to offer anything even remotely constructive to the monestary.

I can't be the only only who is tired of him. He is either a troll or a wacko and he needs an invisi-ban

Even if a site ban is appropriate (and I agree about the reaped reply - I am the one who submitted it for reaping), the root of this thread was not (imo) the right location to start that discussion.

    reason given for reaping

That was not a reason, just a comment.

    For reason, take your pick:

    • A question not a meditation.
    • Repetative.
    • Directed at a specific individual not the general populous.
    • Asked in non-English.
    • Dripping with sarcasm.
    • Just another puerile grab for attention, which you've supplied.

Examine what is said, not who speaks -- Silence betokens consent -- Love the truth but pardon error.
"Science is about questioning the status quo. Questioning authority".
In the absence of evidence, opinion is indistinguishable from prejudice.

Very well. Personally, I think it was wrong. Think what you may, but we will have to just disagree on this one.

      Dripping with sarcasm

No. Absolutely not. He was simply asking the same question he has asked numerous times lately, both in nodes and in the CB. It's clearly the area where he feels he needs assistance. Of course, we all may think him mistaken in that; but he is not being sarcastic. In fact, I'd say it's one of his more sincere and candid posts lately. I believe he felt that by asking in Corion's language he'd be able to get a more helpful, less emotional response.
