ptoulis has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:
Hi monks,
i am new here, so please excuse me for my ignorance. I am trying to have Crypt::SSLeay on my windoze. I need to for the LWP agent to speak https, but I seem unable to build it. Strawberry perl fails and ActiveState cannot provide with a solution. I use cpan and type install Crypt::SSLeay but alas, it just wont listen.
I searched CPAN and 75% of tests of the module fail. It shouldn't be that difficult to have SSL support on windoze, right? Has anyone solved the problem?
thank you all
UPDATE: I used the chatterbox and I got a great site to find the appropriate module: http://www.bribes.org/perl/ppm/Crypt-SSLeay.ppd Thank you all for your help.
