Try adding something like this:
if(-d 'w:\'){ print "w:\\ is a directory\n"; if(-R 'w:\'){ print "w:\\ is readable\n"; }else{ print "w:\\ is not readbable\n"; } }else{ print "w:\\ is not a directory\n"; }
They say that time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself.
