Recently, I had a problem with Perl syntax coloring using vim. After much research, I posted my question to the Monastary, knowing it was more of a unix question than a perl question. I got the answer I needed quickly, and with a little shell tweaking I was rolling again. In color!
My question is this: Is there a unix board that's like perlmonks? I'm looking for a place that has both the features that make perlmonks what it is, as well as the flame-free atmosphere. A place where I can ask (and answer) questions about shells, drive mounting, networking, security, and all the unix questions that continue to surface on a daily basis, but without the attitude that permeates some sites. Essentially, I'm looking for unixmonks.com. I know it's a tall order, but does a place like that exist?
