Item Description:
Review Synopsis:
The Perl 5 Pocket Reference is very short gives a very very quick look at the each built in command of Perl 5 and it's magic variables. It also goes over some of the modules that come with PERL 5 as a standard.
Pros :
- This book gives little descriptions of the commands.
- Very easy to look up commands.
- Very organized.
Cons :
- It doesn't show the syntax of many of the commands.
This book is for mid-level PERL programmers and up. It is a very good addition to the Perl Cookbook.(I carry the reference book inside my cookbook)
