I'm currently gathering the necessary venture capital to start a "Covfefe" brand coffee shop chain that is going to give Starbucks a run for its money, I assure you.

Every employee has to wear a red power tie as part of their uniform of course. The small cup size option will be called "Sad", the medium will be "Deplorable", and the large will be "Yuge". First one side will come because they think it's paying homage, but just wait until Trump sues to try and get a piece of the profits or shut us down because he thinks it's an insulting parody. We'll have everything trademarked first, kick his ass in court, and all the free publicity that roles in because of it will cause our stock price to skyrocket in a very short time, stores all over the world! We'll pledge a percentage of the proceeds to "build the wall" or a percentage to "get The Donald out of office", each customer gets to "vote" where their money goes. Both sides of the political aisle will drink our coffee, one for the wall and the assumed homage, the other for the office ousting and the assumed parody.

But the truth is that it's not about politics, it's solely about profit, and we have no scruples about playing both sides for cold hard cash. Once we have grown so large that we have secured a monopoly on the world coffee market, we will demand absolute power, and those that refuse us as supreme leaders of Earth will have their caffeine supply cut off, leaving them weak and flailing, unable to resist. And THAT's how you take over the world! Mwa, ha, ha, ha, ha! :-)

It sounds more like an unspecified noun.

As in "Due to some arcane technical decisions, the server needs to frobnicate the covfefe once a day."

    An "Acme" module

It does now. Or at least, it will be in a few hours, after PAUSE and the mirrors finish processing.

Sorry, i just couldn't resist the temptation...

"For me, programming in Perl is like my cooking. The result may not always taste nice, but it's quick, painless and it get's food on the table."

...the period of time in which my wife, a US citizen, was in the process of having her Canadian Permanent Resident application processed (which was within the last month approved).

Note that she's been in Canada through visitor visa extensions far longer than Trump has been president (even before he decided to run in fact), so that was definitely not part of the equation, it just worked out extremely well).

I think it'd make a good word for when you drink a lot of coffee so you have to pee.

e.g. "I drank 3 cups of coffee in the morning before work and I had to covfefe the whole meeting."
Or "I had to hold in my covfefe through the whole meeting because I drank 3 cups of coffee in beforehand."

This poll would have been quite funny one year ago (as the famous usage of this word was in May 2017). But now? Why dig it out from its well-deserved oblivion?

Rata (who thinks that there are better poll-ideas around ...)

I do agree, the timing is off because it's late, but we all may as well make the best of it and try to make a funny joke. I like polls that just turn in to joke competitions...

Here's another one. "Covfefe" will become the fourth "unforgivable curse" in JK Rollings next book. Would anyone care to speculate on what the effects of the curse are? Everyone run your version of humor.pl and see what we can come up with. :-)

It's only been a year of this twitterstorm? How many extra-lexical uses of english have been introduced? The twitterstorm will continue as will the covfefe up.

The reservoir of useable poll ideas is almost totally dried up. If @you want more polls, you'll have to start filling it up again.

Just a thot: Campaign Of Violence Eff Everyone Eff Everything.

Example usage: "Don't anger a disgruntled system administrator. He might covfefe your payroll system on his way out the door."

I suspect it will come to mean

"That which is meaningless and intended to draw attention for no real reason other than 'I want attention' ".

At least that is what it will mean for me....

...the majority is always wrong, and always the last to know about it...

A solution is nothing more than a clearly stated problem...

Covfefe, noun: A corrupt, thuggish, yet ultimately ineffectual and untrustworthy dictator who uses lies and propaganda to further his own personal gain, as well as that of his family and close supporters.
