perl.com hijacked

Further to discussions yesterday in the chatterbox regarding issues connecting to perl.com the answer is that the domain has apparently been hijacked. This will probably take some time to resolve so be careful of links to perl.com in the meantime.

Question: Was it just a mirror of http://perl.org??? In that case we could try redirect/replace the links, there are literally thousands in the monastery: click search button I'm no expert in domain registration, but apparently wasn't due to expire for many years. perl.com and perl.org are different sites but perl.com is referenced (linked) from perl.org - search for "Perl News" on perl.org. Now it says "RSS config broken". Well done is better than well said. -- Benjamin Franklin	[reply]
