Well, consider yourself lucky. "end", "page down", "down arrow", and "mouse wheel" all change form drop-downs here. Navigating the mouse pointer to the narrow strip of the scroll bar is a pain, as is evidenced by the invention of the "scroll wheel". And I use the mouse as little as practical (it is slow and cumbersome compared to keyboard methods in most cases of there being a keyboard method).
I have a distant memory of having to use Alt-Down to navigate a drop-down. I hope to make or find an add-on that moves back toward the navigation keys being useful much, much more often. I also hate that clicking on a Flash&trade component makes even more keyboard navigation impossible, especially Alt-F, Alt-D, and Ctrl-Tab.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>

Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
