The last time the idea of a job section
came up, it was opposed.
Job postings and advertisements are generally removed
quickly, but this looks more like an actual discussion,
which is why I'm replying instead of considering it.
Although I think it's definitely not appropriate for
Perlmonks (I agree with the reasons given before),
who knows, perhaps the stats guy would like
to add a job section to his collection of extras.

Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
