They've been paying me for about 20 months to code Perl. I have 1.5 months to go until I make a big decision weather or not to continue this fiasco. Question: Am I the only one here that stands alone as the only programmer in a company of 5000? That shocked look on your face tells me that you haven't had the "pleasure" to work in manufacturing before... I sure would like it if there was at least one other programmer to talk to about stuff... Prost, Moe

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
