I am just curious to know the history of perlmonks, like who started it?(being here for 3+ years I could sense that as vroom, but any further info could be useful),
when it is started?,
how many users were there in the begining?
how soon it become popular?(it is certainly popular now, for all perl users this is a heavenly gift, probably one of the wonders of the world :) )
any other interesting facts about perlmonks and its history. ( I searched this site about perlmonks history which lead to no relevant nodes, that's why I am asking this question).
