Hmm, the update line made me think of whether the NodeReaper could play Nicholas Cage's role from "Gone in 60 Seconds" (I think it did, actually, on one particularly heavy troll-day).
Getting Serious about Humour : Humour, here as elsewhere, is where you find it. A lot of it is situational. Like the very node to
which this is a response. Why should anybody feel constrained to humorize in a specific location? "Sorry sir, this is a 'no-joke' zone" might be the impression if there were an explicit humour
section.
Think of it as finding the raisins in the pudding (how English to think *that's* luxury, hm?)

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
