Thanks for the reference to my column. But if you'd please refer to my archive rather than the one at the WT site, you'll help people get text with better jokes and downloadable code that actually works, instead of the frequent mis-steps that they seem to put on their site.

Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
