The text boxes are empty and the How do I change my preferences? text doesn't indicate what the defaults are. Before I start messing with the values I'd like to know the defaults.
Also, here are some usability suggestions for the User Settings page:
- Make the Help for this page link more prominent, perhaps by centering and bolding it.
- Move the See Also links to the bottom since they aren't needed until the user fails to find the needed setting in the form, and in the current location the see also links distract from the help link.
- All checkboxes or edit fields set to default should either be populated with values or have brief explanatory text, such as default: 10.

<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
