Hi,
actually an RFC colud be useful.
Stop with the marketing gag and lets explain why: what the module offers is a kind of synthetic data generation language, i.e. it is a mean to describe a set of values in a very very condensed form.
How?
Think about a Regex pattern that instead of filtering the matching data it actually produces it, i.e. for example the rule:
[01]{2}
produces the array '00' , '01' ,'10' , '11'.
Unfortunately regex syntax cannot be used 1:1 for this purpose, so I had to define my own syntax and build de facto a kind of mini data generation language. An RFC about this language could be useful.
Do you have a suggestion where I could put it?

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
