Don't think of sticking to any language, otherwise you are stuck. It is simply the nature of this industry that, there are always new things for you to learn. Perl is a neat language in areas it fits, but there are also so many areas that I will never think of Perl. The answer is to learn Perl, but never think of sticking to it, or think Perl as the best language. That will only blind you. In reply to Re: Should I stick with Perl - does Perl have bright future?
