My decision is not very difficult,
as I didn't use much modules.
Out of those, I chose those that solved exactly
what my problem was.
Other modules I don't list here might also be very good,
it's just that they do something else than my task.
The main point in evaluating them is whether I like
the interface of the module or not, many modules
I used are not here because they failed this criterium.
Thus, here are my favourites:
-
File::Temp
-
XML::Twig
-
LWP
-
Getopt::Long

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
