Or depending on the complexity of the install you could just script it and bring CPAN.pm into the picture. Look at the "Programming Examples" section in the pod. If you have many external dependencies (external to perl) than scripting the install will make your like much easier. If you are developing a web app, you might consider bundling it with apache so that it's all self contained. This is what krang does, and we've successfully used this same model for other projects.

<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
