I am not sure but I wanted to assign the values taken frm two columns in the txt and assign it to a1 and 2. Finally, print them off. I know itz simple but no idea abt perl.
#!/usr/bin/perl
#use warnings;
open (GRAPH, "2211.txt") || die "Can't open 2211.txt: $!\n";
while (<GRAPH>)
{
$a1 = push(@a1, $1);
$a2 = push(@a2, $2);
print @a1, @a2;
}
close GRAPH;

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
