Weakness in the eye of the beholder.
Most of the complications in Perl's threading model come from trying to figure out how to add threading and avoid having the interpreter randomly deadlock or corrupt from race conditions. I take problems like that seriously.

tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
