I’m not defending them; I’m pointing out that you are a hypocrite. You’re not the innocent victim you keep claiming to be.

In what way does Vroom give me so much freedom?

It’s a very simple and straightforward argument that I put forth in my previous thread: LinuxQuestions would have banned you, which limits your ability to post. Vroom wouldn’t ban you, which does not limit your ability to post. Hence, Tim Vroom is giving you more freedom to post than LinuxQuesions.

and why shouldn’t he?
I just say he does. His reasons are his own, and you’ll have to ask him if you want to know his motives.

When have I responded to someone by being more insulting than they were to me?

  • You say FU to Petruchio and he didn’t insult you.
  • You say the majority of perlmonk’s users suck and in chatterbox you have said that the majority of perlmonk’s users are maggot spit. The majority of perlmonk’s users haven’t ever insulted you. In fact a very small percentage have ever referred to you in any way.
  • You call Tim Vroom an asshole and I’ve never seen him even mention you.

    Title:
    Use:  <p> text here (a paragraph) </p>
    and:  <code> code here </code>
to format your post; it's "PerlMonks-approved HTML":

    • Are you posting in the right place? Check out Where do I post X? to know for sure.
    • Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
      <code> <a> <b> <big> <blockquote> <br /> <dd> <dl> <dt> <em> <font> <h1> <h2> <h3> <h4> <h5> <h6> <hr /> <i> <li> <nbsp> <ol> <p> <small> <strike> <strong> <table> <td> <th> <tr> <tt> <u> <ul>
    • Snippets of code should be wrapped in <code> tags not <pre> tags. In fact, <pre> tags should generally be avoided. If they must be used, extreme care should be taken to ensure that their contents do not have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor intervention).
