Thanks, castaway. That's one of the things I love about PerlMonks---all the available resources. I think I have a compiler available at work (VB.NET resource) and I want to look into learning to compile my own modules anyway. I'll play around with that before calling on PodMaster. There seems to be plenty of resources available about the issue on SuperSearch, too.

<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
