...I forgot that love isn't about girls and boys anyway (or about boys and boys).

It's about being related in the spirit. It's about being connected in a way that language can only partially describe.

If you've ever felt that, then you know what I mean. And sometimes observing a ritual can remind us of the magnitude of what we've created in that relatedness. It can jar us into becoming present to our accomplishment.

-- Or, we can just buy some roses out of guilt and declare it all to be a sham.

But get that there is genuinely something to be gained by embracing the sentiment and expressing it fully. And as one of the greatest philosophers of the last century observed, "If you can't be with the one you love, honey love the one you're with!"

...All the world looks like -well- all the world, when your hammer is Perl.

Title:
Use:  <p> text here (a paragraph) </p>
and:  <code> code here </code>
to format your post; it's "PerlMonks-approved HTML":

  • Are you posting in the right place? Check out Where do I post X? to know for sure.
  • Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
    <code> <a> <b> <big> <blockquote> <br /> <dd> <dl> <dt> <em> <font> <h1> <h2> <h3> <h4> <h5> <h6> <hr /> <i> <li> <nbsp> <ol> <p> <small> <strike> <strong> <table> <td> <th> <tr> <tt> <u> <ul>
  • Snippets of code should be wrapped in <code> tags not <pre> tags. In fact, <pre> tags should generally be avoided. If they must be used, extreme care should be taken to ensure that their contents do not have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor intervention).
  • Want more info? How to link or How to display code and escape characters are good places to start.
