One of my favorite winter activities is AFTER doing
something outside on a particularly raw day whatever
it was coming inside and makeing one or all of the
following and consuming it:
- Hot Cocoa
- Hot Toddy
- Hot mulled wine/apple cider/rum/whatever
- Soup! I make a good soup! Good when coming
in from the cold
and that list is in no particular order and is not
all inclusive.
After having done one or more of the above a fire in the
fireplace is good. Getting out one of the comforters
and wrapping up in it in front of the fire with my
wife makes it even better. After 26 years and 2 children
it still is one of my favorite things.
So, winter and cold weather are just my excuse to do
all that!

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>

Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
