That's something I hadn't really thought about before. In theory all you'd need to do is satisfy the interface (fetch/save/remove plus the relationships and any custom methods) and you'd be good to go.... It's far too late to think about this right now though, but I'll stick it in the wiki.

Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
