You want a Tk::TabFrame, or, more canonically, a Tk::NoteBook. With Tk::NoteBook, create and pack a new Tk::NoteBook object (call it, say, $nb). Thereafter, calling $nb->add("Tab name") will return a new Pane which you can pack widgets into.
