( [id://3333]=superdoc: print w/replies, xml ) Need Help??
See, I will be the one to predict a situation that nobody else ever thought of. This situation brings on my prediction of the 200,000 post being:

Sunday, October 27, 2002 at 04:13

How did I come around to getting this date? Simple! The Sun at the centre of our solar system will suddenly flare up with an attitude and create many abnormalities in the Earth's atmosphere. All computerized equipment on the planet will cease to function for a period of nearly 5 weeks until the frenzy caused by the Sun is over. At this point in time, all computer equipment will jump into a functioning state once again and people will once again commence to post on the site. :)

/me walks off, wondering why he is the only person to realize this coming event. /me steps into his bright white room with nicely padded walls and jumps around all the while laughing like a maniac.

Title:
Use:  <p> text here (a paragraph) </p>
and:  <code> code here </code>
to format your post; it's "PerlMonks-approved HTML":

  • Are you posting in the right place? Check out Where do I post X? to know for sure.
  • Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
    <code> <a> <b> <big> <blockquote> <br /> <dd> <dl> <dt> <em> <font> <h1> <h2> <h3> <h4> <h5> <h6> <hr /> <i> <li> <nbsp> <ol> <p> <small> <strike> <strong> <table> <td> <th> <tr> <tt> <u> <ul>
  • Snippets of code should be wrapped in <code> tags not <pre> tags. In fact, <pre> tags should generally be avoided. If they must be used, extreme care should be taken to ensure that their contents do not have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor intervention).
  • Want more info? How to link or How to display code and escape characters are good places to start.
