( [id://3333]=superdoc: print w/replies, xml ) Need Help??

I have first noticed this sometime around Sunday, 25th of August, 13:00 GMT

Looking at the HTML source you can see that Error: appears instead of the <IFRAME> or <LAYER> tags (depending on your browser), so the problem is not with Perlmonks themselves but rather with the advertising server at http://adfu.blockstackers.com/servfu.pl?l,perlmonks. While surely this might be seen as an "improvement" because you don't see advertisements, but I wonder how this would affect Perlmonks advertising revenue (they are getting payed for this, right?). Reflecting on this I believe it might be of interest to the community to get this thing fixed ASAP in order not to suffer any revenue loss.

Just my thoughts.

Oh, I am an economics student so things like revenues are usually on my mind ;)

Title:
Use:  <p> text here (a paragraph) </p>
and:  <code> code here </code>
to format your post; it's "PerlMonks-approved HTML":

  • Are you posting in the right place? Check out Where do I post X? to know for sure.
  • Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
    <code> <a> <b> <big> <blockquote> <br /> <dd> <dl> <dt> <em> <font> <h1> <h2> <h3> <h4> <h5> <h6> <hr /> <i> <li> <nbsp> <ol> <p> <small> <strike> <strong> <table> <td> <th> <tr> <tt> <u> <ul>
  • Snippets of code should be wrapped in <code> tags not <pre> tags. In fact, <pre> tags should generally be avoided. If they must be used, extreme care should be taken to ensure that their contents do not have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor intervention).
  • Want more info? How to link or How to display code and escape characters are good places to start.
