I was thinking about all of the acronyms used on Perlmonks. It took me quite a while to get them straight. I thought it would be nice to have some kind of page for new monks to explain them to new users. I have searched a bit and found a few nodes about the subject here and here. I am not proposing anything like a linking system to the definition, just a static page some where in the help docs or the new user pages that explained them, or at least made people aware of how to find them. What do you think?
Thanks Josh

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
