Ok, I think we basically have the same view of it then: never let the MUA wander out on the Internet to deliver any emails. The way to accomplish a mail delivery to a mailserver on localhost or perhaps a nearby relay is a matter of taste, TMTOWTDI. Not all of us have the luxury to be concerned about whether the scripts run anywhere else than on the machine we wrote it for, we just need it to do it's job.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
