Upon reading the title I thought that this was a level 11, as in one better than Saint. Recall that many intellectuals and religious luminaries have been deemed 'heretical' by the establishment in their lifetimes, but whose work turned out to be revolutionary and highly foundational to the history that followed.
Ovid has certainly made controversial but well-regarded posts (Paradigm Shift - Don't use strict), and TheDamian's mind-blowing talk at SPUG last night on computations "in no time" clearly puts him in that category!

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
