You could upgrade to latest libwww and just use method requests_redirectable from LWP::UserAgent
$ua->requests_redirectable( ); # to read
$ua->requests_redirectable( \@requests ); # to set
This reads or sets the object's list of request names
that "$ua->redirect_ok(...)" will allow redirection
for. By default, this is "['GET', 'HEAD']", as per
RFC 2068. To change to include 'POST', consider:
push @{ $ua->requests_redirectable }, 'POST';

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
