I think it would be a excellent idea to start a Perl 6
section. Of course that would deal with everything Perl 6
(SOPW, Meditations, Code, etc. all rolled together). There
are a several good reasons to do so since it would make:
- things interesting from a historical aspect.
- avoiding the topic easier for those not interested.
- things easier to sort out later (5 vs. 6 issues).
I can appreciate people wanting to be on the bleeding edge,
but think about how many 5.0 shops are still around and not
likely to change anytime soon. I can say with certainty
that our University won't be movng to Perl 6 until it has
been fully vetted/stable for at least a year.
Naturally I'll play with it at home as soon as it's
available.

Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
